Typical exhibitors are product and service providers that assist in advancing the value chain of printed circuit boards (PCB). From concept to design, from build to test, if your business operates in this space, we'd love for you to consider being an exhibitor.
The event is comprised of one day for set up and the day of the show. This trade show occurs once per year. The venue is the McKimmon Center at 1101 Gorman St in Raleigh, NC (map). This is the continuing education space for North Carolina State University. As their guests, we follow their rules while we're there. The main ballroom is about 12,000 square feet. We will also have 4 classrooms, an overflow room, the main dining room and the lobby. There are 6 restrooms available.
Exhibitors must set up their space the afternoon before the show. There will be no time on the day of show, and it is disruptive to be setting up while attendees are on the floor. Setup is from noon to 6pm on the day before the event. Plan accordingly.
The full show schedule is listed on another page, but the main exhibit floor hours are 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. During the keynote, the main exhibit floor is closed -- we want everyone to hear the keynote address.
Your table is 8' long and will be covered with a black cloth to the floor. You will have 2 chairs (another can be available upon request during setup). You may place on the table any runner or banner on the table for decoration or with your company logo. You are not allowed to staple, tape or in any way affix anything to the tables, cloths or walls. Selecting your table is "first pay, first pick". After you register and receive an invoice, paying it sooner will put you higher on the list. Paying slowly will put you lower on the list (too slow and you risk being removed from the show). You will be directly contacted when it is time to select your table. Refer to the Floor Layout for reference.
This is a table top event, so you should bring table top items and 1 or 2 pop-up vertical banners to place behind you. You will have one electrical outlet on the floor, so bring any short extension cord / power strip with you that you might need. The capacity is suitable for a couple of laptops and monitors. Please do not bring high current equipment without prior approval -- if you have questions, contact us.
The McKimmon Center controls guest internet access. Their front desk can provide you with guest access if you ask. We can not make any guarantees for its availability, reliability or speeds. Some ports may be blocked. You may choose to bring your own hotspot/MiFi device if you wish to ensure security and that you have Internet access via cellular.
We will print name badges for your representatives and they will be exactly as entered during registration. If you have already registered, but did not list your reps, you should go back to the registration page, login and update your list of reps.
The McKimmon Center has a ground level wide door on the south side of the building. To get access, enter via Varsity Dr. or drive around the building clockwise until you can longer circle the building. This area is for drop off and pick up, but do not park here. During setup hours, there will be people with carts that can help you move the items to your table. If you need to ship your items, please plan for the items to arrive a whole day before setup (i.e. on Monday) and ship to this address:
Greg Emma, PCB Carolina
McKimmon Conference & Training Center
1101 Gorman Street
Raleigh, NC 27606
Once the show is over, during teardown between 6:00pm-7:00pm, you can ready your exhibit packages and put them in the hallway outside the mail room to be shipped out the next day. Please note that the mail room closes at 4:00pm. If you need labels or other packing material, you will need to get those items beforehand. The PCB Carolina staff will not have these materials, but we will have staff to help you move your items to the mail room.
If you have questions, call the McKimmon Center at 919-515-2277.
